These are mostly either a part of the DC Extended Universe or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a few significant outliers. Of course, a lot of performers do become well-known for playing certain roles in DC or Marvel productions. In reality, though, a large number of these skills have appeared in films from both superhero worlds.
Elba Idris
The British actor has portrayed Heimdall in several “Avengers” films and in “Thor.” He also played Robert DuBois, also known as Bloodsport, in “The Suicide Squad” . Elba played Roque in DC’s “The Losers” (2010) and starred in Marvel’s “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” (2011) before taking on these roles.
Zoe Saldana
From “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014) to the most recent two “Avengers” films, Saldana is most renowned for her role as Gamora in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the actress portrayed Aisha in ‘The Losers’ (2010) prior to this.
Simmons J.K.
The actor from the first three “Spider-Man” films is most likely the one you remember as J. Jonah Jameson. However, Simmons also portrayed Commissioner Gordon in the 2017 film “Justice League.”
Michael Fassbender
After starring in DC’s “Jonah Hex” (2010), the actor joined Marvel to portray Erik Lensherr, better known as Magneto, in the X-Men films.
Chris Pine
Pine played Peter Parker in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” (2018) and portrayed Steve Trevor in “Wonder Woman” (2017).
