“Guntur Kaaram” vs. “Hanu Man” box office receipts: On January 12, Teja Sajja’s most recent film Hanu Man and Mahesh Babu’s film Guntur Kaaram faced off in theaters across the globe. Due to exceptional demand and a greater number of showings, Hanu Man has made over $1.6 million at the North American box office as of this Saturday, according to the movie’s distributors, Nirvana Cinemas.
According to industry analyst Aakashavaani, the movie brought in Rs 9.01 crore at the foreign box office and is predicted to earn $4 million to $5 million alone in North America if it has a strong run for at least three weeks. “On the first day, HANUMAN-International-Breakeven succeeded.. The industry tracker stated in a post on X, then known as Twitter, “Trade is expecting a minimum of $4 to $5 million just from North America with a excellent run for at least of three weeks.”
On Saturday, Hanu Man’s box office receipts in India increased significantly. On Thursday, the movie earned Rs 4.15 crore from Telugu theaters; on Friday, it earned Rs 8.05 crore; and on Saturday, it is projected to have earned over Rs 12.50 crore. According to the cinema trade portal Sacnilk, this means that in just two days after its release, the movie’s total box office receipts are expected to have hit about Rs 24.70 crore.
However, according to the film’s producers Haarika & Hassine Creations, Guntur Kaaram brought in a total of about $2 million at the US box office and over Rs 94 crore worldwide. On its first day at the international box office, the movie brought in almost Rs 20 crore.

On Saturday, Hanu Man’s Telugu concerts recorded an overall occupancy rate of 82.94 percent. Karimnagar, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Hyderabad, and Vizag-Vishakhapatnam were among the other regions that contributed to the theater industry on Saturday, although Warangal and Mahbubnagar recorded an entire 100% occupancy rate.
On Saturday, the Hindi versions of the movie had a total occupancy rate of 21.17 percent. Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, National Capital Region (NCR), Jaipur, Lucknow, and Chandigarh are the main contributors to the film’s occupancy.
Guntur Kaaram’s Telugu shows saw a total occupancy rate of 46.02 percent on Saturday. Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Warangal, Kakinada, Guntur, Vizag-Vishakhapatnam, and Karimnagar were the main contributors to the film’s overall occupancy.
Hanu Man is a 2024 Telugu-language superhero movie from India that was produced by Niranjan Reddy Kandagatla under Primeshow Entertainment and written and directed by Prasanth Varma.
