Prabhas’ movie ‘Saalar‘ stormed the box office :
Finally, on December 22, 2023, the much anticipated movie “Salar Part 1 Ceasefire,” starring legendary South actor Prabhas, opened in theaters. Following its release, the film dominated the Indian box office because the public had been waiting impatiently for it.
The film “Saalaar Part 1 Ceasefire,” starring Prabhas, who is well-known from “Baahubali,” has begun taking in box office receipts on its second day. Maya’s magic has made a comeback to theaters after numerous earlier attempts at filming failed.
The public has been incredibly supportive of Prabhas’ film “Saalar” in the previous few days, to the point where it caused a commotion at the box office. Saknilk claims that the movie made a total of Rs 90.7 crore in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi on its opening day, and that its success carried over into the next day.
On its second day, the movie brought in a total of Rs 55 crore, and on Sunday, it is expected to bring in even more money. ‘Saalar’ has reportedly made a total of Rs 145.70 crore at the Indian box office in the last two days.
Prabhas’s status as a powerful force in the theaters has already been established by Salaar’s success. As to a Sacnilk estimate, the movie is anticipated to gross approximately Rs 2.8 crore on Thursday, thereby surpassing Rs 376 crore in its domestic collection. In contrast, the Prabhas film has already crossed the 650 crore mark globally, according to information provided by trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. As a result, after Baahubali 2 and RRR, this makes the film the third Telugu film. Prabhas’s Baahubali 2 brought in a staggering Rs 1788 crore worldwide, while RRR took in an incredible Rs 1230 crore.
Even though a lot of Prabhas’s earlier movies were box office busters, this time around he has dominated the box office before saying goodbye in 2023. Action movie “Saalar” in Telugu was concurrently released in five other languages, including Hindi.
Vijay Kiragandur is the producer, and Prashant Neel is the writer and director of the movie. In addition to Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinu Anand, Ishwari Rao, Shriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in the supporting roles, it stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The movie, which is set in the made-up dystopian city-state of Khansar, centers on the friendship between Dev (Prabhas), a Khansar local, and Prince Wardha (Prithviraj). At the box office, it appears that fans of the movie are really enjoying it.
Thus far, this picture has received only positive reviews. ‘Saalar’ is supposed to bring Prabhas a lot of luck. Prabhas proved to be a consistent failure at the box office following “Baahubali.”
Following “Baahubali,” Prabhas’s “Saaho,” “Radhe Shyam,” and “Adipurush” failed at the box office despite having large budgets. But ‘Saalar’s’ first performance suggests it could propel Prabhas’ career to new heights.
